We have installed a network of intelligent controllers that interface with data sources like HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Security, Surveillance, Ambient lighting & temperature, electrical loads, utilities, occupancy, CO2 and CO sensors. All the vital information is gathered through the integration of these components, be it the temperature sensor which works on 0-10V or 4-20mA or the variable frequency drive of the blower or the pressure sensors sensing the water or airflow, all the data is converted into a common format, and reaches the central processing unit through a common IP network backbone.

This information is collated and then intelligently utilized to take automated decisions about energy conservation, comfort enhancement, equipment maintenance, safety and security of assets, etc.

COMPOSITE STRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION

The advantages of the composite structure can be fully utilized as summarized below:

Advantageous properties of both steel and concrete are effectively utilized in a composite structure.

1. Faster construction by maximum utilization of pre-fabricated structural steel members. A slab cycle of 5-6 days can be achieved during construction.

2. Better Quality assurance for pre-fabricated steel structure, fabricated in an automated plant

3. Better structure life by applying proper paint system suiting to the different corrosive environment

4. Better fire resistance for a composite structure as compared to non-composite steel structure.

5. Fire proofing paint is applied to the beam's exposed faces.

 

6. Ability to cover large column free areas in the building. This leads to more usable space.

7. Reinforced cement concrete (RCC) slab is in compression and steel joist is in tension, resulting in effective utilization of the materials can be achieved.

8. Better seismic resistance, i.e. best suited to resist repeated earthquake loadings.

9. Composite sections have higher stiffness than the corresponding steel sections.

10. Automated formwork is used for the RCC core to achieve a better finish and faster construction time.

11. Reductions in overall weight of the structure by almost 25% as compared to RCC structure.

12. More use of steel, which is durable, fully recyclable on replacement and environment friendly.

ELECTRICAL AND POWER SYSTEMS

1. A dedicated 33kv HT supply from the substation through underground cables.

2. One cable always redundant in case of cable fault.

3. 4 transformers of 2500 KVA each. One transformer is redundant.

4. Redundant rising mains and bus duct for power supply to all floors.

5. Each rising mains is 1600 Amp.
